Fabio Colombo
UCSD San Diego California graduate brewer and BJCP judge.
He moved to New York in 2009 and was fascinated by the creativity and variety present in the American beer scene. He graduated as a brewer from the University of California San Diego.
At the same time, he began working professionally at Californian breweries such as Stone Brewing Co. and Saint Archer. He obtained the BJCP certification (Beer Judge Certification Program) and currently participates on the jury table of various beer competitions. Returning to Switzerland in 2016, he co-founded Broken City Brewing. In 2020, he founded Birra Arbànt, a project dedicated mainly to cellar beers, aged over months or years in oak barrels that previously contained wine.
